The topic of this meeting will be "Beautiful & Healthy Skin"

Our speaker will be Seema Jones PA from Dr. Saluja's office. She specializes in cosmetic dermatology & will speak about laser treatments & the new FDA sunscreen regulations.

It is that time of the year to nominate and elect your BCPA leadership for the 2012-2013 year. The nomination, election, and installation of new officers will be held at this meeting.
Please forward all nominations to President-elect Cheri Ganzer ( cganzer1110@yahoo.com ) if there are any interested persons. The positions that will be voted on are as follows

This is a letter that many pharmacists are asking their patient's to sign after they administer a flu shot to them. Please feel free to do the same in your practice setting or use the letter as a template to create your own letter. Pharmacists may find their state legislators by going to the FPA homepage (www.pharmview.com), choosing the ADVOCACY tab, then choosing WHO ARE MY FLORIDA STATE LEGISLATORS? It is important we get all the support and representation we can! This letter has also been posted on the BCPA website, so you will be able to access and print it from there as well. Here is a sample letter please feel free to personalize it and addressing it to your specific Senator or Representative is better than leaving the title as legislator but advocate for the immunizations- There is suppose to be a bill introduced to stop pharmacists from providing flu shots.
